Toyota Says Prius V Still On Track, Despite Japanese Earthquakes
In brief: Toyota Motors Sales USA has announced that the Prius V hybrid wagon is still on track for U.S. delivery this fall.
The word
The announcement comes despite the Toyota Motor Corp announcement that release in Japan will be delayed. The earthquakes and tsunami that hit Japan in March have delayed production at many Japanese plants, though most are now getting back on track.
Toyota announced the delay last month, but just a few days ago, Toyota MS-USA made the announcement that there would be no delay in getting the Prius V to North America.
And so ...
A nice development for this new plug-in wagon.
