Mitsubishi Jump 2013 plan

Mitsubishi's plan, outlined in the graphic above, is to debut hybrid (HEV), plug-in hybrid (PHEV), and battery electric vehicle (BEV) models by 2015. To go along with this push for greener alternatives, Mitsubishi will also be focusing on compact vehicles and smaller SUVs for emerging markets. Mitsubishi is also collaborating with Nissan in Japan to build a new minicar.

Mitsubishi is calling this their "Jump 2013" strategy to boost global sales by 370,000 vehicles by 2013 - a large part of which will be facilitated through alt-fuel technologies.

And so ...

Mitsubishi's MiEV is rolling out in Europe this year, putting the company into the electric car arena.
