The word

Toyota, eager to hold onto their lead as the world top hybrid vehicle maker, will be bringing the premium compact hybrid Lexus CT 200h to the U.S. as the first dedicated hybrid in the premium compact segment.
The five-door CT 200h is Lexus' second hybrid, taking its place alongside the larger HS 250h. The 200h's drive train has a 1.8L Atkinson cycle 4 cylinder gasoline engine to fit with the Lexus Hybrid Drive technology.
Like others in Toyota's new lineup of hybrids, the CT 200h will be a plug-in parallel hybrid with a NiMH battery pack, a few miles' range at low speeds all-electric, and will be a front-wheel-drive vehicle.

Luxury features and superior driving dynamics will be what set this apart from the standard Prius models in the Toyota line.
And so ...
Several added safety features also adorn the Lexus line.
