Ford Fusion Wins 2010 Urban Green Vehicle of the Year

In brief: On Wheels Media has announced their year-end awards with the Urban Green Vehicle of the Year going to the Ford Fusion Hybrid.

The Fusion Hybrid was awarded the prize for high fuel economy, an affordable price tag, and because it otherwise won out in the On Wheels Media criteria.

The Urban Automobile Awards are given out every year, this being the 14th time, and are given for vehicles specifically based on criteria in each category related to what consumers in metropolitan areas prefer.

With its' 41/36mpg city/highway, the Fusion definitely fits the green bill.

The top prize is the Urban Automobile of the Year, which was also taken by Ford with its Taurus SHO.
