Chrysler has apparently disbanded its ENVI series hybrid team, likely putting the kibosh on the five 'production intent' concept vehicles that were introduced at the North American Auto Show as vehicles to be based on the ENVI platform, which was, in another time and economy, competing directly with GM's Voltec series hybrid platform.

Unfortunately, this includes the gem of a sportscar, the Dodge Circuit EV. Furthermore, it wasn't too long ago that Popular Mechanics cited one of the other ENVI vehicles, the 200C EV Concept, as one of the cars that could save Detroit.
