2011 Volt Gets 5-Star NHTSA Safety Rating

The NHTSA introduced tougher test requirements for 2011 and the Volt was able to pass with flying colors, receiving the highest rating possible.
Some of the safety features on the Volt include the StabiliTrak electronic stability control system, the front-, side-, and knee-air bags as well as the curtain airbags in the roof.

The Nissan Leaf has not undergone 2011 NHTSA tests yet.
