The word

The 2011 Lotus Elise might look familiar - it's the platform on which the Tesla Roadster is built. The new Lotus model, however, will include a highly efficient engine from Toyota.
The 1.6-liter engine is a Toyota 1ZR-FAE with Valvematic and Dual VVT-I (Variable Valve Timing, Intelligent). Thsi engine will propel the Elise from 0 to 60 in 6.0 seconds and will improve efficiency by 13% over current models, putting the car at 38mpg.
