2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid Claims Highest MPG in Class
In brief: The EPA ratings for the Lincoln MKZ Hybrid sedan put it above the competition in fuel economy for a luxury sedan and equal to Ford's high-MPG Fusion Hybrid.

The word
The 41mpg city and 36mpg highway ratings of the MKZ Hybrid match that of the Ford Fusion Hybrid and beat the MKZ's nearest competitor, the Lexus HS 250h.
The EPA results are surprising, given the usually lackluster mileage performance of luxury vehicles. The Lexus tested at 35/34 (city/highway).
The Lincoln MKZ shares the hybrid powertrain used in the Ford Fusion.
And so ...
Interesting results, though real-world is often very different from EPA numbers.
