The word

The 2011 Fiesta features Ford's new six-speed transmission (the PowerShift automatic), a new 1.6L Duratec engine with Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (Ti-VCT), deceleration fuel shutoff technology, and new engine accessory drive system. All add up to savings.
The manual transmission version gets 28mpg city and 37mpg highway, showcasing (again) how Ford's new innovative auto-transmission saves fuel.
And so ...
The Fiesta's numbers beat competitors Honda Fit (35mpg) and Toyota Yaris (36mpg).
