The word

B-Class F-CELL

Select customers will take delivery of the first lease vehicles before 2010 with 200 of them delivered by 2012 from California to Europe.

The B-Class F-CELL production model has a range of about 240 miles and sports a new, optimize fuel cell system that is almost 40% smaller than the older A-Class F-CELL while generating up to 30% more power on 30% less fuel.

The electric motor powered by the fuel cell is 101kW on par with a 2.0L gasoline engine. It puts out a 0-60mph of 11.4 seconds, a top speed of 106mph, and can operate at temperatures as low as -13F.

And so ...

Very interesting fuel cell technology from Mercedes that will be interesting to see on the road.
