The word

The F125 is intended to demonstrate emissions-free mobility in the luxury segment of the future. It incorporates well-proven concepts and technologies that aren't yet available, but which show great future promise.
It features a logical look at how fuel cell drive systems will integrate with plug-in technology and how new hydrogen storage technologies could be incorporated into vehicle design to leverage Metal Organic Frameworks (MOF).
The batteries are lithium-sulphur, something which Mercedes has been exploring as a replacement for lithium-ion as a means of bridging the energy density gap and recuperation rate gaps.
And so ...
The concept is very cool and has a lot of promise in terms of realistic, real-world range extended electrics without any petroleum fuels being involved (true zero emissions).
