Burbank California To Get Two Hydrogen Fuel Cell Buses

City of Burbank HFC Bus

The first will be delivered on Wednesday (April 28) and the next in June/July. The bus is a hybrid-electric hydrogen fuel cell bus with a HFC reactor and a bank of lithium titanate batteries. It has a range of 250 miles per charge/tank of H2 and will rotate between Burbank's four bus routes.

Burbank is already home to a hydrogen refueling station (built in 2006) and the city is already home to five hydrogen ICE converted Toyota Prius hybrids.
