In brief: Asia Pacific Fuel Cell Technologies (APFCT) has opened the world's first hydrogen canister exchange and refill station for light electric fuel cell vehicles.

The word

The canister exchange and refilling station is set up at the National Tsing-Hua University in Taiwan as the first part of the H2 refueling infrastructure planned for hydrogen scooters in Taiwan.

Many hydrogen fuel cell electric scooters are both on the market and offered for rental on the Taiwanese island with some models getting a huge 620 miles per H2 canister.

APFCT has a small fleet of only two scooters and one microcar (aka golf cart) which are used by the security guards at THU. More are coming to market soon.

And so ...

The canister swap/refill station is a big step towards acceptance of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles in Taiwan.
