Wheego to Show Highway-Ready LiFe EV in LA

The LiFe was unveiled in Washington earlier this year and is a full-speed version of the neighborhood electric Whip.

The LiFe has a 100 mile range per charge thanks to a 20kWh battery pack (li-ion) and will retail for $32,995. It qualifies for both the federal and California tax incentives, knocking $12,500 off the price tag between them.

The LiFe has all of the expected amenities of a commuter (A/C, airbags, anti-lock brakes, power windows/locks) and charges from either a 120V standard or 240V outlet or from any standard J1772 charging station.

And so ...

The car doesn't have an official release date, but Wheego (based in Georgia) may release the car locally either before or in conjunction with a California release.
