The word

The Electric Vehicles International vans are a battery electric platform upon which the popular Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation Utilimaster body is placed. They are meant to take the place of their diesel counterparts already in service with UPS, FedEx, and similar companies.
The EVI-WI is a Class 4,5, or 6 commercial truck with a 90 mile range and a top speed of 60mph.
UPS will put a handful of the vans through testing in three locations, for 30 days each; beginning in Sacramento, then San Francisco, California and finally Reno, Nevada.
And so ...
The vans were recently given California Air Resources Board (CARB) approval and so are eligible for a $20,000 rebate.
