The word

The car is ultra-light and has two motors, one on each axle (front, rear). The peak output of those motors is 125kW each (250kW total) giving maximum torque of 240Nm or 177lb-ft on each axle.
Combine that brute fore with the low-slung weight distribution of this all wheel drive car and you've got a speed machine.
Although they haven't released specifics, Peugeot says the combination of high-output lithium-ion batteries, the aforementioned motors, and the aerodynamics and light weight means the EX1 is capable of making records in land speed acceleration.

Seen from the top, the "water droplet" shape (more of a duck's foot shape) gives the car a very unique look and low-drag profile. Most of the EX1's body work is done with carbon fibers.
Seated in the car, though, the driver is presented with another new experience.
The driver and passenger sit in seats that are directly on the floor of the car, with legs outstretched forward. The steering wheel is replaced with two grip handles which control the car.
It gives the impression of flying, Peugeot says.

And so ...
I love the Speed Racer helmet in that last promo shot.
