Rolls-Royce Confirms Electric Phantom Test Project

Likely to be a one-off build, the fully-electric Phantom will debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in March. It will then tour the world throughout 2011 as a test bed for research data on possible future electrics from the company.

In addition, the announcement from Rolls also gives the car a name, as it was hitherto known only as the Phantom Experimental Electric. The company has also launched ElectricLuxury.com to showcase the new technologies.
