Renault (finally) Introduces Kangoo Express ZE Electric
In brief: The Kangoo Express ZE from Renault has finally be physically introduced at the International Commercial Vehicle Show in Hanover with a price tag of $20,000USD.

Make/Model: Kangoo Express ZE
Manufacturer: Renault
The word

The Kangoo ZE (Zero Emission) is an all-electric daily delivery van that competes directly with the Ford Transit Connect and similar-sized vehicles in Europe.
Renault showcased the Kangoo at the International Commercial Vehicle Show in Hanover as the definitive (meaning "production") version of the electric van. It will sell for about $20,000 (US) before incentives, matching the price of the diesel powered Kangoo Express.
Ownership does not include the battery (explaining the low price tag), as those batteries will be purchased on a "subscription" plan at $96/month.
The Kangoo Express ZE has a load capacity of 3.5m cubed and can carry 650kg (half ton). Range is 99 miles per charge.
And so ...
Very cool to see this van finally released. Sales may be brisk as that $96 can easily be made up for in lack of fuel and maintenance costs.
