The word

Presented at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September, Renault has teamed up with Biotherm, the skincare arm of cosmetics giant L'Oreal, to develop a dedicated electric 'spa' concept car—you read that right.

The ZOE Z.E. not only promises a healthier environment, it also promises healthier—and more beautiful—passengers. How?

- A climate-control system prevents the cabin air from becoming too dry, keeping the skin refreshed;
- That air is cleansed by an air filtration and purification technology;
- Aromatherapy is delivered to occupants by way of an electric system that "diffuses essential oils into the cabin", and certain aromas are used for certain times of the day and night;

And so ….

Skin hydration, pollution protection, aromatherapy, and a system for essential oils … According to Nissan/Renault CEO Carlos Ghosn, this concept "targets motorists looking for a compact and flexible vehicle capable of meeting their day-to-day needs, from the daily commute, to the school run and trips to the shops."
