Porsche Boxster E prototype

Based on the Boxster sport coupe, the E is Porsche's first attempt at an all-electric car concept. The vehicle is currently in working prototype test phase.

The Boxster E will not disappoint, however, with a 0-60mph of 5.3 seconds and 240 horsepower in output. Three prototypes have been built so far.

The prototypes are using an advanced lithium-ion battery pack with 29kWh of life, giving the E about 100 miles in range.

Few details are available as yet, but Porsche will likely showcase the Boxster E at the upcoming Geneva show with more details.
