Vehicle in the news
Make/Model: Ranger Electric ATV
Manufacturer: Polaris Industries
The Polaris Ranger Electric ATV will be available in dealerships nationally sometime this summer. The ATV boasts a 25mph top speed, has a range of 50 miles per charge, and uses a 48V 30hp (AC) motor connected to all four wheels.
The Ranger EV charges from any 110V outlet (home, garage, or generator), but it's expected MSRP of $10,699 is well above its gasoline counterparts. But yes, it comes in Mossy Oak too.
And so ...
It's great to see a recreationally-marketed ATV in all-electric, though several other companies have work horse ATVs already on the market at a similar price point.
