The Italian design company, Pininfarina, says that the car is still on track for release this year as the French developer, Ballore Group, completes their lithium battery plants and Pininfarina meets other manufacturing requirements. The battery electric commuter car made a splash at last year's Geneva show with its 153-mile range and 80mph top speed.
