The word

Ocado is an online supermarket and delivery service in the United Kingdom and it utilizes two Isuzu Forward electric 5-tonne trucks as part of its delivery service in the London area.

One of the trucks was showcased in the annual London Cart Marking Ceremony in which commercial vehicles from the past, present and future are paraded and marked (branded).

The Isuzu Forward is a well-known medium-duty vehicle brand in Europe and Asia and is known in the U.S. as the F- or N-series Isuzu. The two electrics being used by Ocado are test vehicles that have been on the road for about three months.

The trucks are specially outfitted with not only their electric drive train, but also an electric climate control for the refrigerated box.

The trucks are expected to become a regular offering from Isuzu in the next two years.
