Nissan's Tantalizing Light Commercial Electric Vehicle Concept
On the heels of the much-anticipated LEAF, Nissan has released a concept image for a new light commercial vehicle.
Vehicle in the news
There isn't much to go with the image. Nissan says this is a light commercial vehicle meant for low-cost, multi-purpose use in fleets. It's platformed on the NV200 and is small enough to do many things larger vehicles cannot.
It can be ordered in various configurations with this rendering being the "taxi" or "fleet mobility" option. A small delivery van and even a possible ambulance will also be body options.
And so ...
Interesting take. Nissan is obviously attempting to show forward from the LEAF. This could possibly help ramp up the plans Carlos Ghosn announced at the Tokyo Motor Show for an all-electric Infiniti model.
