The word
The first 50 i-MiEVs arrived in Estonia on Monday to mark the beginning of delivery on the largest order of electric cars from Mitsubishi so far. The order was signed in March and full delivery is expected by the end of this year.
The Estonian government plans to use the cars in public facilities, including social welfare, as part of its plans to popularize electric vehicles nationally. Subsidies for EV purchases have recently been introduced as part of this plan and a charging infrastructure is underway.
Cars will be sold to the public in Estonia starting next month.
And so ...
Sales of the long-awaited i-MiEV begin in North America sometime early next year and have already begun in most of Asia and Australia.
