Mission Motors Unveils Mission R EV Superbike
Vehicle in the news
Make/Model: Mission RManufacturer: Mission Motors
The word
The Mission R showcases the latest components from MissionEVT, the EV powertrain arm of Mission Motors. This includes a 14.4kWh battery pack slung across the frame (designed by James Parker) and delivering 141hp in a total package smaller than a 600cc sportbike.
The motorcycle itself has a strong, aerodynamic industrial design by Tim Prentice (Motonium) in a very aggressive package.
The bike is race-ready with a top speed of 160mph in only one gear. It does this through the 3-phase AC induction motor that cranks out 115ft-lb (156N-m) of torque from 0-6,400 RPM.
The Mission R also features a new 100kW controller from MissionEVT that features full custom tuning options for the rider, including regenerative braking maps and throttle controls.
And so ...
