The word

Volker Mornhiweg, head of the AMG group within Mercedes, the all electric version of the supercar will be coming by 2013. It will be driven by four motors, one in each wheel (similar to the Audi e-tron) for a total of 525hp and 649lb-ft of torque.
It will need all of that power since the car itself will weigh 500 pounds heavier than its gasoline counterpart thanks to the 3 lithium-ion battery packs giving the car a 110 mile total range per charge.
And so ...
Very cool and Mercedes has promised a prototype sometime in late 2010 or early 2011.
