Man Donates Zap Electric Truck to School District

ZAP Zebra truck
In brief: Jerry Henley donated a Zap Zebra electric truck to the Vashon School District in Washington.

The word

ZAP ZebraThe Zap Zebra was donated to the island's school district by resident Jerry Henley of Vashon-Maury Island near Seattle, Washington. The truck is being used by groundskeepers for the school district at the three schools in their care.

Vashon High School, where the truck is headquartered, has been installing a solar array for power and the school's principal hopes the truck will soon be fully powered by the solar panels.

And so ...

It's great to see community spirit and electric vehicles coming together.
