Izaro GT-E Supercar Concept Sketch Revealed
In brief: Izaro Motors is a new/old company whose vision is to build an electric (battery or hybrid) supercar in the tradition of the company's name.

Manufacturer: Izaro Motors
The company was founded in 1922 as the Izaro Electric Car Factory. It eventually folded, but has recently been resurrected by the original founder's grandson as Izaro Motors.
The original version of the GT-E was developed on a Factory Five chassis, but after breaking off with that company, Izaro's designers created a concept in-house.
Shown here, that concept is the GT-E supercar, which has a weight of about 2,200 pounds and is fabricated mostly from basalt fiber with magnesium and high-strength steel making up the frame components.
The designers are toying with both a 495hp electric motor combination or a 416hp hybrid gasoline-electric system. Either way, their projections are a 0-60 time of less than 4 seconds, a 150 mile range (battery) or 428 miles (hybrid) and a starting price just under $80,000.
So far, the car is only a conceptual drawing and engineering CAD. No solid plans for building even a working prototype are given.
And so ...
An interesting car, but in the end, it's just another "electric supercar" with little promise of making it to reality.
