Freightliner Custom Chassis and Morgan Olson Team For Electric Walk-in Van

The van uses FCCC's electric MT-EV chassis with Enova Systems' 120kW drive system. The batteries for the design are from Tesla Motors. The body and interior are all custom-designed by Morgan Olson.
The van is meant for medium-duty, local deliveries and the MT-EV WIV features a lightweight, aerodynamic design for better efficiency, giving it a 100 mile range per charge. Recharge from full depletion takes 6-8 hours from the truck's built-in charging system (no exterior station required).
The interior of the cab is much like a car, maximizing driver comfort and supplying all of the needs (including HVAC) of the driver via electric options. Curb-side entrance-exit access, a large rolling back door, and cab-to-cargo access round out the design for utility.
The MT-EV WIV has a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 14,000 to 19,500 pounds with a steel rail framed chassis.
And so ...Interesting innovations in this commercial delivery van. The chassis is available in other fuel options such as CNG and hybrid, but no information was given on whether this Morgan design would include those options.
