The word

Ford is participating in the UK's Ultra-Low Carbon Vehicle Demonstrator program using the Transit Connect Electric and plans to release the electric cargo truck as a utility van and as a people mover option in 2011.
In 2012, Ford will follow that up with the release of its all-electric Ford Focus in both North America and Europe.
The ULCV Demonstrator program is a consortium of Ford, Scottish and Southern Energy, and the University of Strathclyde.
And so ...
The program will test the vehicles beginning this fall into 2011 as part of a larger test of alt-fuel vehicles throughout the UK.
