Ford and Progress Energy Team For EVs at the Research Triangle in NC
The word
Ford and Progress Energy are working together to develop consumer outreach, education, and information on charging needs to consumers and providers. Over the next two years, Ford will be bringing several electrics and hybrid electrics to the U.S. market.
The efforts will focus on the Research Triangle area of North Carolina, where they will target education on charging and electric grid requirements for EVs.
Progress Energy is one of ten utilities partnered with Ford to test Ford Escape Hybrids and other vehicles as part of Ford's electrification outreach.
