Vehicle in the news
Make/Model: Stormster
Manufacturer: RUF Automobile GmbH
The word

The Stormster is powered by a Siemens 270kW motor (the same as in teh eRUF car) and has Li-Tec Battery GmbH lithium-ion batteries to give it a top speed of 150km/h and 200km in range.
The German automaker, RUF, debuted their first EV (the eRUF) in 2008. Less than a year later, the sportier Greenster was introduced to replace the eRUF. Now comes an SUV.
And so ...
It's great to see an SUV in the making as an electric vehicle. There's a very limited market for high-dollar sports cars, high-dollar sedans, and very small cars, so this fills the gap nicely.
