Enova Expanding EV Models to Include Ford F-150 and Chevy Express Cargo Van

In brief: Enova Systems of California has announced that it will now be offering all-electric versions of the Ford F-150 pickup truck and Chevrolet Express Cargo Van, retrofitted to use the all-electric Ze drive system.

The word

The Ford F-150 has been fitted with a 90kW motor and Ze drive system while the Chevy Express Cargo Van has been fitted with a 120kW Ze drive system.

Both are being marketed along with Enova's Freightliner/Daimler MT-45 EV walk-in van and are aimed for commercial fleet applications and government fleets.

Both the F-150 and the Cargo Van will be undergoing third-party testing at a clean vehicle testing center in June for both dynamometer and on-road tests.

Enova also plans a nation-wide showing of the converted vehicles at various events around the country this year.
