e-Wolf premieres e-1 and e-2 electric supercars
Vehicle in the news
Make/Model: e-1 & e-2
Manufacturer: e-Wolf
In Brief: Just weeks after introducing its e-1 supercar, e-Wolf GmbH, part of the Maiworm Group, is releasing images of its e-2 electric supercar.
The Word
German-based e-Wolf has released a few images and some details regarding its gorgeous e-2, an electric supercar with four 134 hp electric motors—one per wheel—for a total output of 536 hp.

The e-Wolf e-2
The e-Wolf e-2 follows on the heels of the company's e-1, an electric sports car with a single rear 110kw electric motor that debuted at the recent Frankfurt Motor Show, a vehicle that achieves 0-to-60 in under 5 seconds and has a top speed of to 155 mph (250 km/h). The e-2 is said to be quicker, achieving 0-to-60 in less than 4 seconds, but its top speed is also likely going to be electronically limited to 155 mph.

The e-Wolf e-1
The company is claiming that a lithium ion battery pack (with 84 flat cells from CERIO) will allow the e-2 an impressive range of 187 miles (300 km).
And so …
According to an e-Wolf press release, the e-2 is "an electric sports car with a capacity for acceleration that puts it on the edge of technical feasibility." The prototype launch of the e-2 is scheduled for 2011, while the e-1 is a customized, limited edition vehicle scheduled to go into production in 2010.
