Brammo wins TTXGP North America for second year running

In brief: Brammo's Steve Atlas has won the 2012 North America Championship at the TTXGP, making this the second year in the row the electric motorcycle company has taken the win.

The season's final race was held at the Miller Motorsports Park near Salt Lake City, Utah where Brammo's Atlas took the overall championship, but fellow Brammo rider Eric Bostrom won the Sunday race in Utah.

The final race featured Brammo, Virginia Tech, and Zero Motorcycles in multiple motorcycle competition in one of the world's few all-electric motorcycle racing competitions.

Meanwhile, the TTXGP Australia series also closed with Team Catavolt taking the win. The European series finishes next weekend during the 24 Hours of Le Mans. World championships are scheduled for late October in Daytona.
