The word

The electric Transit is already being used by many fleets as a test bed for green vehicle purchases to replace petroleum-fueled options. Companies like AT&T, Canada Post and FedEx are among those testing the EV.

These new orders come from:

  • 5 units to FedEx Express
  • 4 units to the City of Toronto
  • 3 units to DTE Energy in Michigan
  • and the remaining 15 to Ford dealerships nationally who've sold them to customers in their locales or will use them as demonstrators.

As one of the only commercial electric vehicles in its sector, the Transit Connect Electric is where most people are looking when they think about the future of local delivery and maintenance fleets.
