Make/Model: Equinox (electric)
Manufacturer: AMP / GM
The word

This conversion is the latest in the line of GM products that the Cincinnati company converts to electric drive. AMP has produced production Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky models since 2007.
The electric Equinox will use the same motors from REMY that GM uses in its Voltec 2-modes. In the Equinox, they will each run one of the rear wheels for a combined peak of 200kW. A 37kWh li-ion battery pack will enable a 0-60 in 8 seconds and reach a speed of 90mph with a 150 mile driving range per charge.
A 3-year battery warranty is included in the sub-$50,000 price tag (after incentives and tax credits).
And so ...
A little pricey, but with the specs given, that is not so bad.
