Green Grand Prix Plans Double Header for 2010
In brief: The Green Grand Prix will hold its sixth annual competition in Watkins Glen, New York on May 8th, featuring two races through the region.
The event is held every year in Watkins Glen, New York and features races, educational events, and more.
This year will feature an official Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) time-speed-distance road rally for hybrid and alt-fuel vehicles, covering sixty miles, as well as a fuel economy competition for all classes of vehicles, which will cover 80 miles.
Educational displays, keynote speakers, car shows, exhibits and more will also be on hand for the festival-like event.
Any driver may bring his or her car and participate in the races and traditionally include vehicles using every type of fuel source imaginable from CNG to hydrogen and electrics.
And so ...
Very cool annual event for those living in the northeast.
