Ford Has Four 40+ MPG Vehicles for 2011

In brief: Ford has become the first full-line manufacturer to have four 40 mile per gallon or better vehicles on the market with its 2011 lineup.

Ford now has four vehicles that get 40mpg or better (highway) in its lineup for 2011, making it the first full-line manufacturer to do so. In addition, 13 Ford and Lincoln nameplates will have the best fuel economy in their segments.

The four 40mpg busters are:

• Fiesta SE (w/ SPF)
• Fusion Hybrid
• Lincoln MKZ Hybrid (pictured)
• 2012 Focus

The Focus will be introduced early next year.

According to the EPA, Ford's fleet average fuel economy rose by more than any other manufacturer from 2004-2009.
