Prius might be pulling out of the US

Not sure if you all heard but Toyota was going to start building the Prius for the first time in the US in 2010. Now they are saying they are delaying it or maybe not going to do it all due to economic hardships.

Makes sense. People can barely get loans here. No loans=no debt. No debt=no economy. It is simple as that.

Why is this surprising? It

Why is this surprising? It shouldn't be. Take a look at the blog section of this site to see some good commentary on the current state of the world. It may only be an amusement to some, but it is cascading faster than the amused want to believe.

Maybe it will come back if

Maybe it will come back if the big three collapse.  Someone will have to make cars here.

Heck, since this was

Heck, since this was announced, GM and Chrysler have put their plants on idle. It's only going to get worse.
