Help in sourcing an elecric car to travel through Africa to Europe

We believe there is no better way of demonstrating the achievability of sustainable living, than to drive an eco-friendly, fully electric car through Africa. We believe that if an electric car can drive through Africa; in similar conditions to the first petrol car’s journey from Peking to Paris over 100 years ago; then this will serve as a demonstration to the world of the feasibility of electric cars as a factor in sustainable living.

We plan to depart from Parys, South Africa in July 2009, and to conclude the journey in Paris, France three to four months later.

Such a trip would attract worldwide media publicity for the importance of sustainable living, as well as for all the partners involved in the expedition.

We are looking for a suitable vehicle for our trip; and would be grateful for help or advise you could give us in sourcing an appropriate electric vehicle.
