High Intensity Solar Panels Set To Change The World
For those of you who don't know me yet, I am big pusher of a two step process when it comes to future car propulsion. What does this mean? Let's take electric cars. If one uses the present electric grid, they are still using carbon based fuels, even if their is nothing coming out of their tail pipe (assuming they have a tail pipe).
There is a need to over haul how we produce electricity. I call this changing the primary source. Once this is changed then switching the vehicle over to electric or air (which uses electricity compresses the air) is the second step.
Recently there has been a huge breakthrough in solar technology. New photovoltaic cells are being developed and it seems clear that Israel is leading the charge. This makes sense, because with huge swaths of land in the Southern part of Israel being filled by desert, solar energy seems like a no-brainer.
Why is this important? If the Israeli model can be duplicated then we might be able to create clean fuel from start to finish, making electric cars like the Tesla truly green.
