A Solar Car That Works
I know in the past I have slammed the hopeful solar car dreamers. I have insisted that we are not close to a viable solar car for the mass markets. That all ends now. Venturi has designed an incredible two seat solar car called the Astrolab. Not only does the Asrolab get to speeds of 110km and is touted as being zero consumption and zero emissions, it also doesn't need to be fully exposed to the sun to run. Amazingly it can charge while in motion. These features make the Venturi Astrolab a tremendous leap forward for those solar car enthusiasts. It sure has gotten my attention.
