Is Koenigsegg Solar-Electric Quant Really Going into Production?
I caught this over at Slashgear.com: Remember the Quant, a four-seat solar electric concept car from Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg and photovoltaic (PV) pioneer NLV Solar AG introduced at the Geneva Auto Show? If not, scope it out below, this thing is dope, and a source at Koenigsegg uncovered by Slashgear says the company plans to put it into production.

A few of the Quant's many prelim specs included:
- Power: 512 bhp
- Torque: 715 nm
- 0–60 mph: 5.2 seconds
- Vehicle range: 310 miles
- Top speed: 170 mph
- Gull-wing doors
- Body covered in NLV photovoltaic thin flm solar coating
- Flow Accumulator Energy Storage (FAES) charged to full capacity in 20 minutes
If Koenigsegg builds it, they will come.
