Chrysler's 'Viability Plan' Includes the Dodge Circuit EV
It appears Chrysler has anointed the vehicle that will represent the ailing car company in a future populated by the Tesla, the Aptera, the Fisker, the Volt, and every other hyped or high performance alternative vehicle believed to be part of our near future: The Dodge Circuit EV.

According to CNN Money, the "viability plan" Chrysler sent to the Treasury Department to justify its bailout featured an "EV Roadster", which is surely the all-electric Dodge Circuit that debuted at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show.
Although a member of Chrysler's 5-vehicle family of ENVI series hybrids, the lightweight, 2-seat Dodge Circuit EV is the only dedicated electric vehicle of the bunch.
But will the Robert Nardelli-led Chrysler car company even be around in 2010 to produce the Circuit?
Do you even care anymore if they aren't?
- PROPOSED SPECS for the Dodge Circuit EV:
- Propulsion: 268 hp (200 kW) electric motor
- Battery: Lithium ion
- Range: 150-200 miles
- Zero-to-60: under 5 seconds
- Top speed: 120 mph
