Algae For Fuel

I'll make this as simple as possible, because I too don't understand all of the scientific terminology. Essentially, researchers at the University of California in Berkeley have developed a method that will increase the efficiency of algae grown for biofuel. This of course is a tremendous breakthrough since algae used for fuel circumvents many of the issues found with biofuels and bioethanol. Algae is much cleaner and does not affect the food scarcity issue (unless you are one of the few blue-green algae consumers).

Time will tell if algae for fuel is truly plausible or if it's just another future fuel hype going no where. Let's hope for the former.
