Cheap Gasoline Possible Death Stroke For Green Cars
Most of us future cars enthusiasts were hiding our grins this past year. As oil and gasoline prices skyrocketed many people began to take future green cars seriously. Now with gasoline prices returning to levels not seen in four years, we need to admit that our joy was premature. I'll go even farther than this. Given the amnesia of the American public, if oil prices don't rise considerably, future green cars will return to the back burner of consumer interest. This would be devastating and impossible to stop.
Since the fuel price hike the US government has seen a common ground with many green car companies. Now things have changed and with economy in turmoil and gas prices returning to manageable levels, many people think that those cash infusions used to jump start alternative mobility concepts will be slashed if not cut off altogether. Let's hope not!
