Honda's Hybrid Set To Lead Off Rose Parade

Honda is set to lead off the Rose Parade this year. The Japanese car maker is marking the 50th anniversary of its entry into the American Market. Honda has chosen its hydrogen-powered Honda FCX Clarity to lead off. This is an important representative of Honda as the car company has recently announced that it has shifted towards hybrids in order to cope with the World's energy and financial crisis.

The Honda FCX Clarity is the first of its kind. It is built as a Hydrogen powered vehicle from the ground up, unlike others that use existing structures and just replace the fuel component. The Honda FCX Clarity is already available for lease to retail customers.
