FedEx Is Going Electric (Well Just A Little)

FedEx seems to have figured out that green cars are an important asset, since it has just added 10 Modec electric trucks for its work in London. This isn't the first green car move FedEx has made. The 10 electric trucks in their London fleet brings their total world wide count up to 170.

OK, why am I happy if the numbers aren't so much over all? Well, all revolutions start off small, but this one I believe is rolling along much faster than its detractors originally thought. The number of FedEx vehicles might not be a lot, but the impact of such a move by a major company can move others to do so as well. After all we live in a global corporate world and sometimes it's those corporations than can make a difference where politicians have not been able to.
